Monday Meditations: ‘to delight the mind and awaken the soul’
Toledo author and psychologist Kevin Anderson has created a poetic word structure he terms “nested meditations.” These meditations use a layered format to incorporate wordplay and turns of phrase to capture a thought or reflection. Toledo Faith & Values will publish nested meditations each Monday with the belief that they "delight the mind and awaken the soul."

I didn’t ask to exist. I didn’t do something to earn two loving parents who care for me. I’ve never gone hungry in my life unless by choice. I’m typing on a personal computer right now — how many people in the world even have that ability? Some days I feel so thankful that I can hardly bear it.
