MultiFaith harvest festival celebrates crops, good will

In Toledo, we celebrated our Fourth Annual Multifaith Harvest Festival at Glenwood Lutheran Church on Sunday (Sept. 30). Faced with the reality of a severe economic downturn and a media barrage of violence and discord, we are hungry. It is a visceral hunger for good, nutritious food, as well as a spiritual hunger for peace.

Multifaith prayer service set at mosque; federal hate crime charges filed

An interfaith prayer service will be held at the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo, 25877 Scheider Rd., Perrysburg, Ohio. at 2 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 7) to show support for the Muslim community after an arson fire at the Islamic Center on Sept. 30. Federal hate crime charges were filed against the suspect.
