ToledoFAVS is the fourth hub site for Religion News LLC's three-year community religion news project, funded through the generosity of the Lilly Endowment. The site officially launched in summer 2012 as a gathering place for nonsectarian coverage of faith and values news from the Toledo, Ohio region.

    This site is incredible and certainly something the world needs! I love the idea of ALL are welcome here, which is like my church, The Village Church. Listening to David made my heart jump for joy over the inclusion of so many religions in one place. I look forward to visiting her often!!!

    Toledo FAVS is a multple blessing to our region. We get a chance to read insightful and well written stories by a gifted writer (Dave Yonke) who also has a unique talent for integrating a wide range of intriguing guest columnists. And not having the Blade interfering with space and editorial limitations makes this a winning trifecta.

Yes, plodding wins the day!

My study of how God has worked through the ages as recorded in the Bible shows me that God often works slowly, through the years, often unfolding his plan through the generations. He is obviously not in as much of a hurry to move toward a resolution as we often are. The spiritual journey is often a pilgrimage of plodding!
